How often AIs mention and cite your brand.
Traditional SEO tools cannot see AI answers. Many AI visibility tools only show a rate without a base, or treat a missing measurement as zero. BrandZaps combines measurements from ten platforms into a few reliable metrics.
Visibility and citability are two questions.
A pure visibility display would sit at zero for weeks on a new project, without showing which foundations can already be improved. That is why the two metrics stay separate.
How often the brand is mentioned and cited in AI answers. On a new project, it almost always starts close to zero.
A measurement of the market picture, not a verdict on the website.Whether the website can be cited, both technically and in terms of content. Measurable from day one.
View citability →Ten platforms, one measurement logic.
Measurements run weekly and at the push of a button. BrandZaps finds your own brand and your competitors in the answer text using stored brand spellings and domains – no model is asked to do this.
A model only assesses the stance and sentiment towards a mentioned brand. Other recognised brands are highlighted but never counted.
Comparisons are made against competitors that were confirmed in the company profile or added by hand. Additions apply retroactively to all saved answers, without new queries.
Company profile →Honest numbers with a visible base.
Numerator and denominator are stored separately, and the base is shown next to every number. That way a missing data point stays distinguishable from a negative finding.
A failed query does not count as a measurement; it is shown alongside.
Missing measurements are shown hatched. Not measured is not zero.
A service that is never mentioned appears as “never” – not as a zero that looks like a measured value.
That keeps the difference between 3 and 9 per cent visible. Behind the question mark, every metric has its own explanation of what is measured and how.
What the overview shows.
A few metrics, each with its own base and explanation – alongside the perspectives that explain a number in the first place.
Citations and mentions as absolute numbers.
“Newly cited”, “Citation lost”, “New competitor” or “advised against” – each event states what it means for the measurement.
How early each brand appears in the answer – with and without prompts that name the brand itself.
Split by the locations being measured.
Including offerings that are never mentioned.
Length of answers and rank of sub-questions.
From the number to the lever.
AI visibility shows the result and leads to the features that explain it.
A reliable picture instead of a rate without a denominator.
Your own presence in AI answers, set against your actual competitors, with direct routes to the levers.
