Company profile: the foundation of every analysis. BrandZaps understands your company first.

Good analysis needs more than data. It needs context. BrandZaps creates the first profile draft automatically from your website and your material – you review, adjust and confirm. Only then does the actual research begin.

Understand first. Then analyse.

Traditional SEO tools often start with search volume, rankings or competitor data. They don't know whether a keyword actually fits your business model, they don't know your target groups, and they don't know which topics should be explicitly excluded.

The result is recommendations that look interesting on paper but miss your actual business. BrandZaps reverses this order: first it defines what your company is. Then it analyses search data, markets and competitors.

Search data extends the company context. It doesn't define it.

Volume is not context

Not every topic with search volume fits your business. The profile records what is explicitly not pursued.

The order reversed

The business framework comes first. Search data comes afterwards and extends it.

No blank form. A prepared draft.

When you set up a project, you enter your website. BrandZaps immediately starts analysing your pages and uses them to create a structured first draft of your company profile.

You can also connect further data sources and add your own material. Depending on the available project context, information from different sources can feed in – added material remains identifiable as a source, so you can trace what a statement is based on.

You don't start with a blank form. You start with a proposal you can review.

Four areas. One shared company context.

The company profile is organised into four core areas. They draw on the same project context and together form the business framework in which BrandZaps works.

Company

This is where you record what defines your company from a business perspective – and what explicitly does not belong to it.

Industry and business model

BrandZaps gets a clear framework for the market you operate in and how your company works.

Positioning

The profile describes what your company stands for and where it sits in the market.

Offers and services

All relevant services are stored as a structured list – later an important reference point for keyword research, content planning and analyses.

Target groups

This lets BrandZaps judge whether topics, search terms and recommendations actually fit the people you want to reach.

Goals

Goals are not stored as general wishes but described with goal, metric, target value and time horizon.

No-go topics

Not every topic with search volume is relevant. These boundaries feed into downstream analyses.

Brand

The brand area connects the business context with the way your company communicates and presents itself. This includes tone of voice, tagline register, design principles and defined brand spellings, among other things.

This area is explored in more depth in its own brand profile. That way BrandZaps can take into account not only what your company offers, but also how your brand should present itself.

Market

BrandZaps considers not only what you offer, but also where you operate. In the market area you define country, language and optionally up to ten city-level locations.

The first location you add counts as the main market. If no locations are specified, BrandZaps looks at the market nationwide.

This gives analyses a clear geographic framework and helps them distinguish which competitors, search results and market conditions are actually relevant to your project.

Competitors

Not every domain that ranks for similar keywords is automatically a real competitor. That's why BrandZaps separates competitors into three groups – and you can add to them manually at any time.

Confirmed competitors that can be included in the relevant analyses and measurements.

Not a competitor

If you mark a domain as “Not a competitor”, that decision is respected and the domain is not suggested again in later runs.

Confirmation instead of silent assumptions. You decide what BrandZaps treats as the truth.

The automatically created profile draft is a proposal. Not the final truth. Every field can be reviewed and edited, lists can be extended or shortened, competitors confirmed or excluded.

Only once you confirm the profile does it become the binding basis for further features. Otherwise a wrong assumption at the start would carry through every subsequent analysis.

AI proposes. You confirm.

A deliberate principle within BrandZaps: the system prepares, you approve.

Confirm company profile

As long as the profile is not confirmed, BrandZaps does not start any keyword research. The next step is only unlocked after you confirm.

This means every piece of research starts from a clear, verified company context.

Not the other way round.

When your company changes, the context changes with it.

Services change, new target groups are added, markets shift. That's why the company profile is not a form you fill in once.

If you change a substantively relevant part of a profile that is already confirmed, BrandZaps automatically sets the profile back to review. Results built on it are marked as outdated.

BrandZaps doesn't silently recalculate anything and doesn't delete existing results. You can still see which analyses are based on an older profile version.

New findings are suggested. Not applied automatically.

During further analyses, BrandZaps may detect new indications about your company – such as a clear B2B signal, a target group not captured so far or a recurring market reference.

Findings like these don't change the profile automatically. BrandZaps files them as a suggestion with evidence. You decide whether to accept them.

One profile for every other feature. Instead of contradictory individual analyses.

Once confirmed, the company profile becomes the shared reference point within BrandZaps. Different features don't work with separate assumptions, but with the same confirmed company context.

Keyword research and clustering

New topics and keywords can be checked against offers, target groups and no-go topics.

SEO competitor analysis

Competitors are viewed in the context of your actual market and can be suggested as relevant.

AI visibility

Measurements are based on the competitors you have confirmed and your defined market.

Content creation

New content is created on the basis of confirmed facts about your company, your offers and your target groups.

Project Brain

The company profile forms the confirmed core of the project knowledge.

What you see. What you decide.

BrandZaps handles the preparation. You stay in control. The result is not a static company profile – it is the confirmed basis on which BrandZaps analyses your company.
