A more complete picture of search visibility.
If you only analyse Google data, you miss part of search behaviour. Bing Webmaster Tools shows how a website appears in Bing search. BrandZaps connects read-only and adds impressions and clicks to the Google data.
How the connection is made.
Each source is authorised separately. An error with one source takes nothing away from the others – it appears as a warning on the source concerned.
BrandZaps only saves a website after checking it against the websites the signed-in account actually has access to. This means no one else’s website is assigned to the project by mistake.
If a Bing session already exists in the browser, it is used. To connect a different account, sign out of Bing first – BrandZaps links directly to the sign-out.
What BrandZaps fetches.
Daily series per project. The connection delivers data to BrandZaps and changes nothing in the connected accounts.
Where the data makes a difference.
BrandZaps reads the data and changes nothing in Bing Webmaster Tools. This way, Bing adds to the project’s search visibility without becoming a source of unnoticed changes itself.
Bing Webmaster Tools is not required for any analysis. An error while fetching appears as a warning on the data source and does not hold up the other steps.
Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored. Sign-in runs via OAuth with PKCE.
All integrations →A search market does not end with a single platform.
Bing Webmaster Tools is connected per project and only ever read.
