What Google’s AI says about your brand.
Gemini is Google’s AI model and is built into many Google products. For every prompt in the project, BrandZaps measures whether Gemini mentions your brand, whether it cites sources, whether your website is among them and which competitors it recommends.
Gemini: how BrandZaps measures it.
Every measurement is tied to the answer that was actually returned. The measurement rules are open, so every figure can be put in context.
BrandZaps collects the answer through the Gemini web interface. This measures what users see there.
For each answer, BrandZaps records separately whether an answer appeared and whether it had a source list. This lets you tell whether there was no source to win, or whether sources were listed but your website was not among them.
What becomes visible for each prompt.
The last ten answers per prompt and platform are kept. The measured values are stored permanently.
Weekly, instant and retroactive.
No answer, no source list, and a source list without your website are not the same thing. Recording them separately gives a more precise finding.
Counted from the last measurement, not on a fixed weekday.
All active prompts are queried again immediately. The run is billed in credits.
If competitors or brand spellings change, BrandZaps re-evaluates the stored answers.
Gemini in the shared AI context.

Three situations, three different findings.
